I have just received this e-mail from the "Max-Planck-Institut für
Radioastronomie" in Bonn which runs the Effelsberg Radio Observatory.

Dear Mr. Agermose,

concerning your e-mail request:

(a)  The circulated message that the 100m telescope of
the MPIfR is involved in observations to cnfirm a SETI
signal is WRONG !!!!

(b)  The MPIfR will publish an official "dementi" on its
webpage.

(c)  The MPIfR is not involved in any SETI projects.

(d)  The MPIfR is not invited to the conference in London.
We have no information on date and place of the conference.
