in response to your comment on Beardens chapter 11.
EDITOR: If and only IF these patents get sabotaged, why not release the specs and everyone just build the damn thing and send donations to Bearden out of human respect. Beginning to think this is the ultimate process that Free-Energy wizards, well, all the dreamers, must face. Pooh on lockstep establishment prunehead procedures. I once had a High School Science teacher with his students building transistor radios before they were seriously launched on the market. Sell MEG-experiment kits, that'll do it. The greater problem: either we begin to build a real culture or we are to be forever cursed with this Roman-style merchant-warrior garbage forever.

FLASH:ACC ANNOUNCES ITS PLANS TO PRODUCE THE TCAP WITHOUT PATENTING. AMERICAN COMPUTER INDICATED THAT IT WAS GOING STRAIGHT TO PRODUCTION OF ITS NEW TCAP BASED STORAGE DEVICES WITHOUT BOTHERING TO PROTECT THEM WITH PATENTS. ACC SAID IT WOULD BE PLACING THE ENTIRE "DOCUMENTS OF KNOW HOW" REGARDING THE TCAP INTO THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SO THAT NO ONE WOULD BE ABLE TO PATENT THE TCAP. CITING INTERNATIONAL TREATIES PROTECTING TRADE IN TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE DERIVED FROM SPACE EXPLORATION AND OUTER SPACE, ACC INDICATED THAT PATENTING THE TCAP WOULD SIMPLY HAVE MADE IT MORE DIFFICULT FOR ALL THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD TO BENEFIT FROM IT. SO, ACC SIMPLY INDICATED IT WAS GOING TO ACT AS THE AGENT OF TCAP TECHNOLOGY, BUILDING AND SELLING IT IN SUCH A WAY AS IT WOULD BE VERY EASY TO REPRODUCE BY OTHER BUSINESSES. ACC NOTED THAT DESPITE ITS PLACEMENT OF THE KNOW HOW INTO THE PUBLIC DOMAIN, IT FELT CONFIDENT THAT IT WOULD HOLD THE LEAD IN TCAP TECHNOLOGY FOR DECADES TO COME.

Sandia is, in essence, part of the Department of Energy. To secure EPA approval, ACC must overcome the objections of the EPA and the DOE!! It must also surmount opposition, if any, by Lockheed Martin, which operates Sandia. Lockheed also provides THE SAME OPERATING SERVICES to the EPA. Lockheed has announced that it is presently MERGING with AT&T's LUCENT TECHNOLOGIES / Bell Laboratories (putting Bell Labs back in the seat of operating Sandia Corporation all over again!!!!)
One can not help but WONDER at how these AT&T companies just seem to SOMEHOW JUST GET PUT IN CONTROL over every single legal governmental avenue available to technology development concerns in the United States... Could it be no accident? Could the rumors of AT&T opposition to Microsoft, that AT&T (scorned developer of the highly technical UNIX operating system) is behind the anti-trust activity against Microsoft... could it all be true? Are Sun and Netscape really AT&T 'outside subsidiaries', like Lucent and Lockheed? Are rumors that Bernard Schwartz of Lockheed/Loral was behind the creation of Sun Micro, from the failed Sun Terminal Company that originated, allegedly, on the back of AT&T Bell Labs envelopes at a favorite AT&T watering hole behind Sun Fish Pond in Watchung, New Jersey, just around the corner from Bell Labs in Murray Hill (but didn't make it when it first emerged at Columbia University in the early 80's)? Have we all been 'HOODWINKED' by a very aggressive misdirection scheme that originated at AT&T? Has AT&T been prejudicing the very operation of our Government?
