Subj: Erroneous Material that you've
linked to on Anunnaki.
Date: 8/18/00 8:46:13 PM Pacific Daylight Time
Kent,
FYI Alert to erroneous material
You posted to some website called "hiddenmeanings.com" which is posting some
very
incorrect data points regarding the idea of the Sumerian word "Anunnaki"
and trying to mix
it with the Greek word "melatonin." They are 100% "out of their mind" and
have "no clue" about the Greek text itself. More than likely they copied
it from some other half-wit.
I'm going to send you a companion e-mail that will contain the documentation
from an online
Greek-English lexicon, from the Perseus Project underwritten by The National
Endowment For the Humanities and the National Science Foundation in cooperation
with Tufts University.
This source is software that translates the Greek to English using the
Prestigious landmark
work by Liddell & Scott, their Greek-English Lexicon that was a 2 volume
work of about 4,000
pages. In addition, I own 6 other lexicons of similar weighty authority but
geared more for the
Greek dialect known as "koine-greek" which is the dialect of Greek for the
New Testament of
the Bible. They too concur with Liddell & Scott and the Perseus Projects
search results.
I'm sending it as a separate email to prove to you that your linked author
is indeed wrong on
the issue of the Anunnaki concept connection to melatonin via Greek language.
I just want
you to see that what I say is indeed true and correct.
It is copyrighted material so it cannot be used for publication posting on
the internet without
prior permission. I am however copying/pasting relevant data points to prove
to you that the
author of the website whom you quote and link to knows absolutely nothing
of what they are
talking about. Any intelligent Greek scholar would spot this phoney-baloney
right off the bat.
While he claims to quote Christian Biblical passages he also cannot get any
of this material
correct either. He also has absolutely no understanding of who Samael is.
Samael is one of
the Hebrew names for Satan, not God. Furthermore, the author attempts to
present his views of Gnosticism, a Christianized version of gnosticism which
is an aberrant cult that had begun around 30-50 years after Christ. It too
was a cult that couldn't quite shoot straight.
The Gnostics of that day proceeded to write a bunch of fraudulent books with
claims to have been written by other apostles and friends of Jesus. These
writings were proven to be false by the very folks who were supposed to have
written them as well as the surviving Apostles of Jesus along with others
who were eyewitnesses. The Gnostic cults died out after hearing the eyewitness
refutations and sworn testimony from those involved. What is most obvious
though is that those fraudulent writings were soooo badly written. Extremely
bad penmanship, bad spelling bad grammar and worst of all, often times whole
sections were scratched out and begun again. These are the hallmarks of spurious
and fraudulent authorship which was so heavily prevalent within the gnostic
communities and the exact opposite of the Old and New Testament writings
for which any error would result in the text being burned and a new one
begun so that there would be no errors in any copies.
I say all of this because whoever is the author of the website shows clearly
two things.
1. They don't know what they're talking about.
2. They continue to manifest the same kinds of errors that prior gnostics
of ,2000 years ago also committed.
I hope you don't think I'm being too picky, but you've got someone here spreading
misunderstandings while pretending to be someone who knows this stuff. There's
more that
I could go into detail on if I had the time. Frankly, from what I've seen
so far I'd guess about
90% of this author's data points are in error so that what does this say
about the conclusions????
As I hope you'll remember, I'm one who thinks Sitchin has made a terrific
contribution to
Christian theology regarding his Sumerian research into the Anunnaki. I agree
with much
of what he says, but we disagree on whether or not these beings were actually
ETs or
simply rebel angellic beings. In fact, I'm not sure but at times Sitchin
in his book Divine
Encounters seems to agree that perhaps the Anunnaki really were just rebel
angels just
pretending to be from another planet. In "Divine Encounters" at the end of
the book Sitchin
concedes the likely possibility that Yehovah Elohim may indeed not be from
Nibiru but rather
from Olam which is "Heaven" and not to be confused with Nibiru.
However, I've digressed and so back to the reason for my writing this email
to you. If I were you, I'd figure out some way to politely disengage before
those links make you look like a laughing stock to those who are learned
enough to recognize the obvious fallacies being
promoted at that website. It's kinda like some guy sitting around the campfire
making up ghost stories and trying to promote them as absolutely true and
then the local newspaper picks it up and prints them as front page news being
fully truthful.
Anyway, just thought you might want to know.
Subj: Liddell & Scott's
Greek-English Lexicon from the Pers
Kent,
Here's the page for a word search of T-H-E critically acclaimed and primary
Greek-English
Lexicon of ancient Greece and the Classical Greek with all variant dialects
of Greek including
Koine- or common Greek. The page below is from a word search for the Greek
equivalent to
the English word for Labor. There are 29 words whose definitions contain
"labor" but NONE
comes close to what your linked article says in regards to the Anunnaki being
derived from the compound word of melatonin as in melos and tosos as the
author claims. Melos by the way does not mean black. "Melas" means black.
Melos means -- a limb, a part of a body, a body part, or a member of a group,
but it does not mean black. Worse yet, the word tosos means of size or space
indicating so great, so vast, so loud, so much, so very. It has nothing to
do with the notion of Labor or work. In addition there are 29 words involving
the notion of labor but none are any where close to the word tosos as you
will see below in the search for Greek words related to "labor." Therefore,
the term Anunnaki cannot be referenced to the
word melatonin nor can melatonin be referred to as night laborer or night
worker or whatever.
Check it out below.

will note that there is no word "tosos" or "tonin" or anything similar to
it in this list below:
