Unexpected Magnetic Event Occurring 12.11.98 0330 UTC
It appears that a vigorous and totally unexpected energetic anomaly has impacted our magnetosphere. The SEC forecast was for quiet to unsettled conditions, yet something pretty potent began several hours ago affecting the GOES Magnetometer readings and electron readings.
