If there are any foundational truths to what our ancient forefathers have taught us regarding (evil) things coming in sets of three, then surely the appearance of a third near Earth crossing comet within 2 years must be deemed significant, and interrelated the appearance of Comet Lee and Machholz 2. The plain truth is, Nature Itself, teaches us that the number three is a Triad which exists virtually everywhere. Take for example a tree. A tree is composed of 3 very basic parts: these being the roots, bark, and leaves. Yet, these 3 component parts cannot exist independently of one another, because a tree IS the sum of all of its constituent parts. Another prime example of this thought are the three primary color groups of light. Colored lights of red, green, and blue wavelengths can be mixed together to produce all colors. But remove one single color from the pallet, and it will compromise the entire color spectrum.
Consequently; the Prophecies of Nostradamus, when combined with current celestial conditions, seem to indicate the possibility of yet another comet threat after the advent of the Great Millennium. So, let us re-shuffle the cards of prophetic destiny one last time.

One more important possibility exists. Nostradamus by using the year 3797 gives us a clue to the use of the Prophetic Jewish Calendar. (Minus the 2000 year punishment for the "cutting off of the Messiah"). "Tishri" and the "Feast of Trumpets" added to the confusion, not to mention the Epistle and the accurate foretelling,.. "it will be in the month of October that they will think..." Think wrongly,...but at least attempt an interpretation. But "Tishri" was the FIRST MONTH,...what happens if we accept that date and move to the SEVENTH MONTH? Do we find ourselves at the now infamous 5-5-2000. (The Seventh Month?)

PARTIAL SOLAR ECLIPSE JULY 31, 2000
On July 31, 2000, parts of the greater northern hemisphere will experience a partial eclipse of the Sun. Russia, Norway, Sweden, and Finland will be in partial eclipse both during and after sunrise. Northwest of North America (east of the International Date Line) will experience the partial eclipse before or during sunset on July 30th. The Moon will cover the Sun less than 40 percent as viewed from due northwest of the United States (including Alaska) and Russia.
San Francisco will have a slight (15%) partial eclipse during sunset, for example. Canadians will find the Sun turning more crescent-shaped, and about half of the solar disk will be covered at mid-eclipse, west of Hudson Bay. The eclipse is deepest (magnitude 60%) in the Baffin Bay of Greenland.

In former times the Sun used to lie in this constellation when it reaches the its point farthest north - the time of the summer solstice. Nowadays the Sun lies in the neighboring constellation Gemini on the time of the summer solstice (due to the effect of precession). Although Cancer belongs to the Zodiacal Family it is associated with the Hercules constellation family.

1999 S4 (LINEAR) is yet another unusual (moving) 17th magnitude object discovered by LINEAR on September 27,1999. This comet, which was initially reported as asteroidal object, has since been confirmed as a comet by the NEO Page. D. Durig of Sewanee, Tennessee has been credited as noting the object's cometary appearance. Preliminary parabolic orbital elements suggest that this comet might become a naked-eye object next June and July.
Quoting: Alan Hale ........... "Since this is almost a magnitude and a half brighter than the ephemeris prediction, this could signify a good show next summer, although of course anything could happen between now and then."
Thus, if Comet S4 does become a naked-eye viewable object during the later half of July 2000, rapid outbursting could present us with a MONSTROUS apparition.
Especially, if the comet's tail sweeps near the Earth and exposes us to the perils of large cometary fragments, or other types of associative ejecta.

This, in all likelihood, is the last possible Nostradamus Comet scenario. There are no other prophecy combinations extant which even come close to supporting the idea of a pre or post millennial (comet) impact event. And in the final analysis, isn't this just as well. Neo Nostradamus Comet analogies cannot go on forever.
