Dear Kent;
I HAVE to visit your site every week for news I don't find anyplace
else.
What is all this 'Rapture' nonsense about?
Certainly I can understand the folks being concerned about a staged
religious event BUT - John N. Darby invented 'The Rapture' in the
1800's.
This system of dispensational teaching including the concept of the
pre-tribulational rapture was first developed among the Plymouth Brethren
in
the early 19th century in England and Ireland.
It was the missing link for the church.
With this concept people had to be ready for judgment every moment. Churches
started a booming business.
It made the idea of a definitive 'end time date' un-necessary because 'the
rapture' would precede it as THE signal.
By the early 20th century, about the time of the writing of 'The
Fundamentals' (from which the term fundamentalist is derived)
dispensationalism became the most popular prophetic theology in
fundamentalist schools and Bible
Institutes in America.
Kent - you provide many viewpoints on your subject matter.
Facts have failed to influence people insisting on religions as THE answer,
and yet, perhaps you can suggest a little research anytime someone sends
you
some biblical tripe. 'The Rapture' is not mentioned in the ramblings that
have become the bible.
The bible didn't become a bound volume of set books and chapters until
Constantine offered to pay for a finalized version of religious writings
centerd around 'Jesus'.
It had to fit his sensibilities and his determination of history.
The church still has not acknowledged Mary Magdelene as the wife of Yeshua
Ben Joeseph.
Or that they had children.
Leave those facts out and try to insert this 'rapture' nonsense and people
bought it.
People have been 'preyed' upon too long, on their knees.
Maybe just a simple banner in your religious nonsense areas that says,
'Warning - Theosophical Material Ahead -No Basis in Fact'.
Keep up the Good fight, Kent.

No kiddin, all freakin mind control leading up to the Big Fix where a whole bunch o' bubbas end up as lil piles of dust on the kitchen floor. The tech is here. ZAP!
Newagers been HAD bad too. Typical deal, spread the promise of self-realization and ascension, and all the college-mystical-mob clambers into the mountains and AUM til they turn blue--sneaky program--takes the intellectual crowd out of the picture so the Orcs can bootstep into downtown San Fran.
All happened before, the Cosmic Wondervogel, Germany, 1934.
Sigh,
Kent
