This coming week the planet Mars reaches opposition on June 13^th and is nearest Earth on June 21^st. While this brings excellent viewing of Mars red disk low in the southern sky, at the same time Jupiter is exactly on the opposite side of the Sun. I see an eventful week, with events peaking from June 13^th to 15^th. On June 15, 2001 at 11:47 am EST (12:47 pm EDT) the astrochart shows Sun, Jupiter, and Mercury all opposite Mars. And guess where the Moon is. Yes, it is in the seventh (sept) house (for Washington DC). Is there a connection here with Nostradamus’ famous quatrain containing "sept" and "Mars rules happily"? Further, this is the time period when any chunks from last years Mars possible encounter with 76P would reach the Earth.

Watch for solar flare activity and magnetic disturbances. Expect earth changes and weather problems. About two days before the 13^th, expect to see the solar rouges (sun cruisers) fighting it out for control of the Sun.

When next week is over, the world will not be the same.
