ITEM(S): HIDEOUS ECO CATASTROPHE HAS COMMENCED IN NORTHERN ARIZONA

The situation is radically out of control, 50,000 acres are now burning
after the fire started less than 24 hours ago.  Four towns are being
evacuated, all efforts to fight the fire have been put on hold because the
fire is so hot that trees explode and have created tornado firestorms and
smoke plumes which can be seen a hundred miles away.  Cause of the fire is
rumored to be by humans becasue there have been no lightening strikes in a
long time.

This is more than serious doodoo.  This breaks all the books and all the
past experiences of how to deal with such conflagrations..

The warnings I laid out in the Oak Tree Memo have materialized in only two
weeks time.  You can forget about the War on Terrorism for the remainder of
the summer, America is going to be very preoccupied the next few.

Humidity is so low and everything is so dry, experts believe that just one
rock falling on another could ignite a fire which can burn tens of
thousands of acres.

Expect extensive road closures, severe economic disruption throughout the
Mountain States, and terrible panics about this and other fires.

This fire is fully capable of spreading hundreds of miles across the entire
forested lip of the Mogollon Rim, from Flagstaff to New Mexico.

FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF FORCED EVACUATIONS.  HAVE SUPPLIES, TRAVEL PLANS,

ETC. KNOW WHERE YOU ARE GOING.
