4/23/00 PREFLIGHT TRAINING: THE TUBE
1. Go look at some SIRDS. I'm convinced such looking allows one to see through reality layers.
Have you walked through a mall lately? These days, as you wander past most of the poster shops, there will be a large group of people staring at the same poster with surprisingly weird expressions on their faces. Some will be in the initial stages of denial or rejection---they will be concentrating, some slowly rocking their heads backwards and forwards, searching for an image that they have never seen before. Others will be grinning from ear to ear, pointing at the poster, chuckling with their friends that a member of their group hasn't seem them yet. "Come on Bill, come on!", they cry and as Bill gets increasingly more frustrated he concentrates harder and harder, until finally (if he's lucky) he sees a true 3D image, without the need for special glasses or equipment.
Do some SIRD-looking below until you can see a well-defined block and sphere.
.
2. Now, here comes the zinger. Turn on your Television, BETWEEN CHANNELS. SIRDS-look.
Think of the moving dots as the surface of a pool. Look into the pool. Keep in mind that what you are LOOKING INTO is the background frequency patterns emanating from the universe.
Shallow exercises would be to try to shape the randomness yourself, self-suggestion.
EXAMPLES
A. make a circle spinning clockwise
B. Reverse the spin.
C. Go 3D make a sphere, etc.
C. Suggest a few simple geometrical forms to yourself and look for them, bars or bands moving around, diagonals, gradually step to more complex forms, things, flowers, trees, humans, make them move around.
3. This is the biggy, look into the pool of the screen with no preconception. This takes a while, the looking, well, the journey.
4. Write down or sketch what you see.
.
.
SECRET: We go through different levels of perception in the journey towards mapping what humans are capable of. The further we go towards infinity, the deeper we look, even into the transfinite, oddly, the greater surety that what we are seeing is absolutely valid.
If you see something scary to simply put a marker there. I call it a spiritual buoy. We have the choice to confront or navigate around and go on.
I like skirting around in most cases because I'm beginning to believe that these frightening places are like guardians, ie, forms dumped there, like a minefield, to keep us earthbound, that is, as opposed to profound places that require confrontation.
Sometimes confrontation is cool as long as we don't get super glued into the very thing we are facing off.
THERE ARE AWESOME LEVELS OF PERCEPTION TO GO TO. On the way back we more effectively can clear out the gunk.
