HI. This past Monday night I was with a friend of mine down in the beaches area of Toronto, in the east end. He was busy with his big old fashioned camera shooting night shots and I was staring out over Lake Ontario. It was a fairly clear night and we could see fireworks close at shore a couple of miles away and also way over the lake area near to the Burlington/Hamilton area. As I was staring out over the lake I suddenly saw an orb appear out of no where way out over the lake, straight out many miles away what looked like the horizon. I asked my friend if he saw it and of course he did and I asked if he saw where it came from and like me he did not. It sat above the skyline at about 10 degrees above the water and was stationary. It was throbbing red to blue and then maybe white and back to red. It looked like a very round object about the size of my thumb held at arms distance from my head. It hung in the same spot for about 5-7 minutes and then disappeared as if shut off. Then as I stared out at where it was once, it seemed to reappear very subtly and with much less light. Then it came right back on and continued to pulsate. This went on for about 10 minutes until it vanished. It was dark over the lake and was hard to see much else that far out. It did not look like something from a ship or plane or helicopter. It could not have the far side of Lake Ontario (New York State) as this is not visible from my city. So, it was an unidentified something that was interesting to see. We also saw several airplanes fly over the city as they took off from our international airport, way out in the far northwest area of the city. Interesting spectacle, whatever it was.
Regards,
Fred

Hi Kent, Hope all is well with you.
I just read the UFO Toronto article you posted, and thought this might be of interest to you.
There is an group of people just outside Toronto that calls themselves Oakville Orbwatch. They have observed and recorded an incredible amount of these orbs over the last few years coming out of Lake Ontario which generally then head south towards Buffalo.
