FROM CAUS: I am reluctant to disclose my observations, due to the reaction most people have when you mention UFO's in general. However, on Dec. 05, 1998; I witnessed a rather bizarre event. While showing off my new (fairly low powered refracting optics) telescope to some friends, we noticed that on the Lunar surface, a strange metallic object appeared to be scaling the southern most visible portion of the moon. It looked as though it had outriggers similar to the module that the US used in the late 60's, yet much larger and with what appeared to be 8 appendages. We watched the craft for about 2 hours before it became completely stationary, at which we then became skeptical of the possibility of this being a real event. Not because we could discount our findings, but because the probability seems so remote. My purpose of this e-mail, is to ask others to try and observe this phenomenon themselves with hopefully a much stronger telescope, and let me know!

An extremely intense magnetic shift was recorded at 23:55:30 UTC 12/24/1998. At first I suspected this to be something of a local nature as I found nothing relating to this anomaly on various Magnetometer sites at both poles of the earth. However the Riometer at a site in Canada detected this event very clearly. Am enclosing a screen capture of the graph. Also Sat Receivers located in NC and Georgia were saturated during this time and momentarily were knocked off of the air. Any info concerning this event would be welcome.

12/24/98 4:31PM PST: Something strange is going on.. Just lost sat feeds to commercial CATV sites. Signals drowning out LNB apparently. This sig is around 2 gig. (Strike a bell) I was beginning to think I am detecting something locally but just discovered that riometer in Canada went off scale at same time. Extremely low ULF. Looks like a broad spectrum hit. Check this out. The gap in the signal indicates the time of our detection at the Amity site. |  |

A very large magnetic shift was just returning to normal early Christmas
morning which is indicated on the above graph with the out of range reading
at 01:03 when the Cosmos gave us another surprise. Another large fluctuation
was detected by the Ace spacecraft which was of unknown origin. This was
recorded beginning at 05:35 UTC time.

Is anybody out there? Kent, after analysis of the time period
of the unknown signal detected early Christmas morning, we discovered an
very interesting implication. There were two signals embedded in the
frequency spectrum during this event. Phi (1.618) and PI (3.14159). It
is our opinion that it would be highly unlikely for this to occur naturally.
I guess the question is, from where and from whom?

to the Elfrad Group members concerning am detected unknown at 18:13 UTC,
12/28/98. This was a very strong burst of signal which was centered at 2
hz. Any other info about this anomaly is invited.

Date: 98-12-30 16:19:03 EST: The ULF signals
monitored by the Elfrad Group during the past 24 hours continue to show an
unusual anomaly. Starting on December 30 at 00:01 UTC there were 14 bursts
of a signal whose frequency is very close to 1.618. These periods of transmission
had an average duration of 14 minutes. As of this time the source is not

99-01-02 11:10:55 EST: Kent...Here is a quick
view of the data from 11:00 UTC to 16:00 UTC today, January 02, 1999 The
FFT shows the frequency content of the 5 hour recording. The 2nd photo indicates
the frequency of .03 hertz which has a wavelength of 6, 208,393 miles and
the third photo consists of the frequency burst of 1.618 hz which is equal
to the wavelength of 115,112 miles.

OF APPROACH: having done some math on the
anomalous frequency detected by elfrad, it has com to my attention that it
has a velocity that would put it on earth exactly June 29, 1999 It travelled
in 8 days 8806 miles, meaning it is travelling about 1100.75 miles a days,
not accounting for any frequency shifts, (Doppler, form shift due to transfer
om carrier media etc...) but that is exactly 179 days from now, OR, 180 days
from when the shift was noted.
