DISCOVERIES BY SNIDELY AND DISCUSSION Phobos On the Loose Comments
KENT: At this point I have no idea what we are seeing, excellent
discussions ongoing
http://kbs.msshost.com/Forum3/viewtopic.php?t=263
We have discussed this before on other threads.
1. Would the depth of focus set at the sun allow anything on the lens or near the lens to show any detailed form or shape at all?
2. Would not a professional observatory have means to safeguard for lens-image corruption?
3. Is there periodicity?
The watch is still on thanks to Snidely who is the Mauna Loa sleuth.
The whereabouts of Phobos has been of study, justifiably or not, for some time now from diverse groups. It all started with weird events involving Comet P/West-Kohoutek-Ikemura, questions concerning the rendezvous [planned mission actual or scrapped] of DS1 our ion-drive spacecraft with the comet as it flew by Mars. The loss of acquisition of the comet.
"DS1 is a New Millennium technology-validation mission that will fly by Asteroid 3352 McAuliffe and Comet P/West-Kohoutek-Ikemura. It is scheduled for launch on July 1, 1998. The two principal instruments on the mission are a Miniature Integrated Camera and Spectrometer (MICAS), provided by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), and a Plasma Experiment for Planetary Exploration (PEPE), provided by the Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) and the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL)."
Summary of major milestones for DS1
1997 May 1 Begin integration and test of instruments and spacecraft
June 1 Begin calibration of instruments
August 1 Spacecraft level tests
1998 July 1 Launch
1999 January Closest approach to Asteroid 3352 McAuliffe
2000 April Mars fly by
June Closest approach to Comet P/West-Kohoutek-Ikemura
July End of DS1 primary mission
September 30 End of data validation period and submission of data for archiving
Oct. 15, 1998: Launch Deep Space One
July 1, 1999: GRENOBLE, France -- A cable car plummeted to the ground in the French Alps early Thursday, killing all 20 people on board, local officials said.
EMAIL, July 12, 1999 1:47:07: The list of the killed astronomers and service men is on the homepage of the Plateau de Bure Observatory at http://iram.fr/ Did you know, that they are famous for their research about Hale Bopp? Maybe they found something about comets, that does not fit in NASA´s theory about their "dirty snowballs!" Especially they found complex molecules on Hale Bopp never seen before by NASA. Read it all on their homepage (almost last entry in the index).
July 12, 1999: South Whitley The recent success of the NASA sponsored USAF LINEAR Project, in the detection of NEO´s is a highly welcome addition to the SpaceGuard effort.
NASA has had to pull the plug on a comet mission, which would have yielded a wealth of data on the structure of a comet. In the UK, the debates in Parliament ended disappointingly, but a call for an International Cooperative on Spaceguard was sounded, thus possibly opening the door for a United Nations Spaceguard?
November, 1999: See DS1 mission log, January 16, 2000: Among the information returned were infrared observations Deep Space One made of the planet Mars in November. The results of scientists´ analyses of those data will be described in the next status report. [seems to indicate that a Mars rendezvous has been no problem, although the Kohoutek flyby, a PRIMARY OBJECTIVE was ALLEGEDLY scrubbed, earlier]
December 15, 1999: ANOTHER ACCIDENT AT THE OBSERVATORY: The Plateau de Bure Observatory is still operated in the same restricted manner that has been decided after the helicopter accident on December 15th, 1999, i.e. the observations are still stopped, and the activities are limited to safeguarding the installations. New molecules found in comet C/1995 O1 (Hale-Bopp) - Investigating the link between cometary and interstellar material
Added note, 1997: Astronomer Eugene Shoemaker, who co-discovered the comet that slammed into Jupiter in 1994, was killed in a car accident Friday in Australia during an annual trip to search for asteroid craters. He was 69. Shoemaker died in a two-car accident on a dirt road about 310 miles north of Alice Springs, [near secret base at Pine Gap] in central Australia, police there said.
NOTES ADDED 8/4/03
Mars, Jupiter, Phobos, now even weird Venus seem to be in the bigger pot o´ stew. A bit redundant here but backing off playing puzzle-pieces:
In 9/11/00 Received the following email message during a discussion about nuking Jupiter and the rumor [Cooper and others] that the Illuminati were tring to turn Jupiter into a sun.
"You may not realize how right you are. However, brace yourself, the changes are only just beginning. Do not fear however, the "EXPERIMENT" as you call it is not over, it will continue. The only thing remaining to be seen is the way in which you humans handle the coming times. Look to Mars, and the red storm of Jupiter as well. You will be amazed at what you discover."
Just got this report:
NUCLEAR REACTION WHEN GALILEO SPACECRAFT IMPACTS INTO JUPITER IN SEPTEMBER 2003 UNLIKELY, BUT POSSIBLE
I find this odd too from NASA
"He (Marduk - the Creator) founded the station of Nibir (Jupiter) to determine their bounds" --NASA

There seems to be an energy vortex, storm, plasma concentration, even a black hole at Jup´s north pole:

Also, yes, Venus looking weird too.
This month Earth will be in the meatloaf sandwich between Mars and Venus:
