Date: 4/13/04 1:28:37 PM Pacific Daylight Time hi kent! i certainly don't consider myself a sleuth, but.....did you see on yahoo news this monday 4/12 about the power outage at LA airport? they said they weren't really sure what caused it, but that after power was restored, the radar and other equipment still wouldn't work, which was very unlike what they expected. ok, weird, but not that weird. then i was driving in w. mass, and listening to boston news, and they mentioned two separate very widespread but short blkouts in suburban boston and another in the framingham area, sunday. my question is: were there other short blackouts across the country on that day? if so where? if so, are they in a reasonably straight line? i think you can put together what happened if the answer to the above is yes.
