Kent, I have a colleague who has a team 250 Miles SW of the Azores equipped with a bathescaphe and 2 submersibles. We have been researching a 90 sq. Kilo ledge with a Central Temple supported by 3 stands of 9 Pillars about 3 ft in Diameter supporting a Flat stone Roof about 20 ft wide and 30 ft long. There are the remains of 5 circular canals and bridges + 4 rings of structures like the temple in between. It is roughly 28,000 ft deep in the Mid-Atlantic Trench and stable at this time. We have tried to send photos out but they have been jammed by surface vessels a mile off our starboard bough flying a US Flag. We were there on a research project for the Spanish Gov't about a week but were chased off the spot yesterday by those ships. The Mountains that rise from the underwater valley have peaks 300 ft under the surface. We have used Sonar to follow the ridge West and slightly south and it appears to connect with the continental shelf near Hispaniola and Continues to Cuba. QA second Salvage ship is NE bound and is tracking a similar ridge heading to a point east of the UK. They want to prove a contiguous path but that Damn Fleet is in the way and they are hasseling those Research Vessels. Some Kind of Maneuvers. (In Wendover, NV, right now) while hubby & i drove past Toolle, UT, looking at what we assumed was the army depot, there were ground explosions that sent big cloud plumes in the sky (one even kinda looked like a mushroom topped cloud). Is this normal stuff that goes on at the army depot, or some special maneuvers going on? It may be nothing abnormal. If it wasnt 'normal' I wanted to let you know.

I work for International Truck and Engine Corporation. Recently we experienced interference at our Fort Wayne Indiana engineering facility. We determined that the problem was coming from the power grid. We run onboard VHF radio tests in our trucks and measure the SIgnal to Noise And Distortion (SINAD) reading on the two way radios with ignition off, key on, engine at idle, and at high idle. Then we run things like wipers, heater blower etc. We will occasionally get enough outside interference that we have to postpone testing for a day. But a few months back we had interference for several weeks in a row. We called and complained to the electric company, and the let it slip that they occasionally try different things. Amazingly the interference went away for a day twenty minutes later. We continued to complain and I made a call to the FCC and the ISO and SAE EMC committee's. Finally the problem went away. We suspect that the power company was experimenting with over the wire billing. The interference was a spread spectrum type signal and could be seen on a spectrum analyzer from say 20 to 60 MHz and was as strong as most FM broadcast stations. Hopefully this is of some help! Keep up the good work. Someone has to keep these companies / military giants in check!
